Redcon Construction awarded Dubai Mirdif Hills Development project
The construction duration of Phase 1 will be 24 months, says Engineer Liam Vitaly
Redcon Construction Company LLC (RCC), has been awarded Phase 1 of the Mirdif Hills Development project by Dubai Investments Real Estate Company (DIRC).
The project comprises three plots with a built-up area of 287,180m2 (3.09 million square feet) and an expected construction duration of 24 months for each plot.
RCC Chief Structural Engineer Liam Vitaly said: “Across our 12 year history in the UAE, RCC has been involved in building healthcare, parks and educational institutes to residential and commercial towers, hotels, shopping malls, restorations and historical buildings.
“I would like to share our gratitude to be awarded the new Mirdif Hills Development project, a new landmark in our journey, and we look forward to accomplishing this venture on behalf of our client,” he added.
The Mirdif Hills Development project includes the construction, completion and maintenance of commercial and residential buildings, featuring three plots: Al Multaqa Avenue, Janayen Avenue and Nasayem Avenue.
Spread over three areas, Mirdif Hills features a collection of residences, retail outlets, commercial options, hotels and communal recreational facilities.
The estate includes an assortment of studio, one-, two-, three-, and four-bedroom flats and duplex units across a cluster of 1,054 individual contemporary apartments, excluding one furnished apartment building [64 apartments] and hotel [116 keys], surrounded by landscaping, and amenities.
RCC also claims to have grown in terms of manpower and machinery despite what it refers to as a ‘market slowdown’, currently employing more than 7,000 team members.
